If you're using cell-core abs, move over to combustion section.

ABS isnt really suitable for pneumatics, so unless you building a combustion; in which case this is the wrong section; you should consider using another pipe (ie. PVC)
really good quote/phrase here

Becuase ABS isn't pressure rated. Ifyou are going to Make a pneumatic then make sure you use PVC, becuase it is pressure rated.

Not all pvc is presure rated so make sure it is.And i wouldnt use cell core even in a combustion.Whatever you are making i would just use pvc as long as its pressure rated.

If you can find pressure rated ABS, it is the best plastic you can make a pneumatic out of. Other than that, use pressure rated PVC, or some type of metal pipe and fittings (even DWV copper is rated for some decent pressures).

You should be fine making a combustion out of unrated solid wall ABS, but I would personally stay away from cellular core pipe of any kind of cannon.

ABS if pressure rated is better for compressed air systems because over time pvc can become brittle and explode, but abs splits... so unless you want to risk having plastic shrapnel stuck in your eye ABS is the best plastic.
