I’m not gluing PVC: 1 so I can use other PVC pipes that I’ll modify to shoot different sizes and different kinds of projectiles like: Grapes, pomegranates, potatoes, aluminum pellets and metal BBs. Instead of making another gun I’ll just use one to shoot wide range of pellets and the only thing I have to do is change barrels.
PVC: 2 is glued to the steel pipe because PVC and PVC makes good grip than steel and PVC.

What do you think is this a safe and nice idea or it’s not even worth trying?

I also wanted to ask about this, the air container/chamber for this will be a piston type air chamber and the air inlet will be a Schrader valve so will it be able to take pressure above 1000 psi ?
If No, then what can I use instead of a Schrader valve that can withstand pressure around 1000 psi?

If the PVC is properly prepared, decent epoxy will make for a very safe join with steel.

It will take a lot more than 1000 psi to cause a schrader to fail: http://www.spudfiles.com/pneumatic-cann ... 15393.html
