When I first found this site, I was in awe of the raw power and super loud sound I was getting from my first combustion gun. I made mention of this fact in an early post in which Brian the brain said, "If you like combustion for it's power, wait until you discover pneumatics!!", man was he right!

The following gun is still in the painting/detailing stages..if I make any drastic changes I'll edit them in.

2"x24" chamber
1"x32" barrel
muzzle loader
homemade diaphragm valve - barrel sealed(which I made w/o asking, and had NO idea how to make until I found this site.)
blowgun pilot valve w/attached pressure gauge
all metal, threaded schrader valve

Shoots like a champ - I'll post a video soon. -Lp

Also DWV 45* elbow on it as well. That DWV wye will probably crack under pressure eventually.

oh and nice looking gun, The red is uber cool. :P

Well I found some very hard acrylic plugs for accents in a bathroom faucet. The faucet came with every color and we only used one.

Wrapped in tape just few times they fit nicely in the one inch barrel and absorb energy well. I shot through a piece of 1/2" plywood and the round hit the smooth concrete floor behind it. The round didn't change shape nor did it crack, just the flat spot you see in the pic.

They weigh in at exactly 1/2oz, so I'm currently looking for something a little heavier but these are nice for now. My compressor only fills to 100psi, and I have no desire to pump manually, regardless I usually fill it to 80psi as a standard.

The gun is very reliable, and powerful. I haven't been into pneumatics for long, but when you can take a few pieces of plastic, metal, and rubber that mean nothing alone and assemble a weapon that could pierce a phone book, well, that's just cool.

Anyway, I'm babbling..here's the ammo. They might make a good mini-piston.
