I was wondering about the sealing times on Sprinkler valve Mainly the one from BC arms. Because i am Thinking about making a semi automatic golf ball gun and i was wondering if i could use a sprinkler valve but im not sure on the sealing times on some of the major brands. if any one could help me out that would be great.,

BTW would a QEV work better, do they seel fast?

Depends on the sprinkler valve/input flow/chamber size. With a 2" x 10" chamber, a standard Watermaster, and filling through a schrader mine is probably somewhere between 1/2 to 1 second, although that could be reduced by enlarging the equalization hole.

A QEV is designed to be filled from the pilot and will generally give you a very good fill time, but you will need a 3-way valve if you want it to operate efficiently.
