I have a FE that can take 300psi but has a dent 4cm long about .5cm deep(1 3/4" long,1/4" deep) The dent hasn't gone through the metal(3mm thick) and there are no signs of cracks/stress fractures.
Do you think its safe to about 100-150psi? Can I make it stronger/safer or can I pop-out the dent? Any tips apart from telling me to get a new FE(unless you think it will blow up) are appreciated.

As long as it doesn't leak, it should be fi6ne. It's just a dent. If you try to push it out, you mite do more harm then good, the more you bend metal, the weaker it gets.

It depends what you need it for really. I'd be hesisant, but it should be safe.
A good CO2 FE will stop a bullet, but that's 6mm steel.
That 6mm will hold back 3000 psi, so I'd guess that your 3mm will hold back 150 psi without breaking a sweat.
So, it's an illogical hesistation really.

frankrede: Well then I guess it won't matter when you decide to drink bleach because your out of kool-aid.
...I'm sorry, but that made my year.

Thanks, I was going to bend it out but you know how if you bend back and forth metal it gets creases, then cracks then it snaps of, so i'll just leave it.
Hopefully this paintball gun will be up and running by next week.
