I'm useing a regular not modded watermaster sprinkler valve. also I didn't mean to circle the projectile mass, and size
can someone help me fill out all these figures? BTW I'm useing a golfball and a tennis bal (seperately)
-I'm pretty confused about how I can get this data...
-thanks!
pic came out scrunched

Put the diameter of the projectile like however wide it is (duh). For its weight weigh it on a triple beam or some thing like a mail scale and convert it. For the init position write how far you are going to stuff it down the barrel. Well if your doing a piston valve (barrel seal or chmber seal) the piston diameter is kind of obvious, its weight (again obvious), vent diameter is however big in diameter your pilot space emptying valve is, pilot volume you can use the equation or a calculater on the net for a cylinder and i think the seat diameter is however lage in diameter the pipe that the piston seals against is. For other types of valves i don't know

sorry I wasn't specific enough, it's a regular not modded watermaster sprinkler valve. also I didn't mean to circle the projectile mass, and size

whats the flow coefficient of an unmodded valve? and the seat diam? and venting diam?
because the site is for a modded valve but mine has to be a electric.
also why does the OUTER diam of the chamber effect volume?
the volume for my chamber is getting different #'s then when I do it by hand...it should be 150^3"

thats for co-axles, put the outer diameter as the iner of your chamber and leave the inner blank
If your getting chased off a police dog, try not to run through a tunnel then onto a small see-saw then through a ring of fire. They are trained for that!

Pyromaniac13, you've been here over a year, and have made nearly half a thousand posts... yet you still don't realize that all that changes when you mod the valve is the pilot volume and the vent diameter?
I mean, seriously, havn't you read the directions on how to mod a sprinkler? Is there anything about shaving weight off the diaphram? No. Anything about boring out the ports? No. Anything about changing the internal geometry? No.
All you flipping do is remove the solenoid valve and install a blowgun!
AHHH!!!!!!
*ahem*... so I do more than just flame you... reduce the pilot volume .1-.2 ci reletive to Mr. Hall's numbers, although I don't know what to set the vent diameter to... you might try .05"
And you've been here for however long and made however many posts...
And you still don't have the frigging dicipline to read the good man's website before bothering the goons?! (the goons = us)
Apparently I havn't been doing my job...
(oh, and lucy has it right)
