Does anyone have any ideas on how to make a nice looking and working carriage for the cannon I described in an earlier thread? It needs to have workings to adjust the angle of the cannon and be sturdy enough for some kickback. Also I want to get a 5 pound tank of C02, anyone know how much and where to get?

When you said Carriage i thought you would have meant an actual howitzer "carriage" like the type of trailer that gets pulled behind tanks and APCs. Instead you seem to be talking about a bipod or tripod, why not say that in the post
To find a good looking carriage or a combustion cannon go to www.wildimports.com they sell carriages, cannon barrels, fuse and accessorys. There are also a few other places try hrironworks, or do a search for black powder cannons and look for field cannon carriages or navel cannon carriages. Those are the general two that work best for spud guns. happy spudding
