I put in the basic formulas for myself, and then I got to thinking that some other people may find it as a useful tool, so here is my Calculator made in Microsoft Excel.

Sheet 1 is for figuring out the length of barrel if you know the chamber's diameter and length, the ratio you are looking for and width of barrel

Sheet 2 is for figuring out the ratio if you know the diameter and length of the chamber and the barrel.

Hmm yeah it seems to work just fine.
Good for lazy people who dont want to keep doing it by hand

Don't forget about Excel's "GOAL SEEK" tool

what is this goal seek tool of which you speak?

In the time it takes to open that file, I could have already figured out the proper sizes of barrel and chamber with Windows Calculator. But for those who don't have a calculator, or basic knowledge of Grade 7 level mathematics, this may be a good idea.

Goal seel is found under the Tools menu in excel. In a spread sheet where you are trying to tune your C/B Ratio by changing your diameter or length can take some time. With goal seek you can choose your "goal" in this example the ratio then select which input you want to change, either diameter or length. It will ask you to "SET CELL" then "TO VALUE" then select which to change. VooDooCC, I tried your tool and it works fine. It's basicly GOAL SEEK. By the way, it's not a matter of laziness but rather utilizing a tool.

Remember - There is no spoon -

The first one doesnt work for me but the second one works very well.

I noticed one problem with it, when using 2" for the barrel, type in the true diameter which is more like 2.1 I saw a site once with the specs for all the different sizes and schedules.
