I've recently made a spud gun, and the sparker keeps braking after about 10 shots. its one of the ones you get out of a bbq lighter but what else could i use for a sparker?

Somethings not right here. How far apart are your electrodes and how old was the BBQ pit your got the igniter from? I have never had a problem with BBQ igniters.
