This is my new copper pneumatic, it uses a 1/2" Quick-Exhaust valve acctuated by a 1/2" Ballvalve. I bent the ballvalve so it acts like a trigger.
Chamber: 550mm x 22mm
Barrel: 600mm x 22mm
Valve: 1/2" Quick Exhaust Valve
Volocity:156m/s

The whole thing, only 75cm long.
This gun was inspired by Brian the brains sawn-off shotgun, its not as good but close enough
.
It is a kind of longer thiner (shiny) version.

I turned down the threads of a 1/4" Dissconnect fitting on my inprovised lathe (put it in a drill chuck) then slid it in some bent 15mm pipe and soldered it in there.

Thanks, TBH the reason I acctualy made this was I was my other one is too powerful for back yard use.
I acctually made the back bit like brains cos thats what I had, that whole gun only cost £2.75 as I only needed to buy one bit the rest I had in my garage.

Well..First of all...I've never used a QEV...
Second..I woul'dn't call a 75 cm gun...sawed off..
Third...I ....don't know..okay??!@?
hehehe...it's not a copy.Barrel and chamber are closer together in my designs.I hate that wide open look.
I like compact.I would "elbow" the chamber back up.
Or rent a pipebender to get a nice flowing design...

exactly. Although I modified ome of the fittings to get the same effect.
I used a 28-22-28 mm Tee to connect the chamber to the 28-28-28- tee the valve is in.
I filed the 22 threads off until I could slip a 28 mm compression ring over it.Used a lot of teflon to make the ring seal over the partially filed threads.
Pretty tricky, because I had almost no room to apply the teflon, once the "cap"and ring were on the 22mm side of the Tee.
I connected the two Tee's INTO each other for a compact look.
That was the major factor for the sawed off look.
I did the same thing with a 22-28 reducer, wich holds the barrel.I filed it until it could fit a compression ring (28mm) over it.
This leaves you with the original 22 mm "inlet"of the reducer to hammer in a piece of 22mm, with a compression ring already on it, as your barrel port.
So no I have a 22 mm port, 28 mm Tee as a piston housing, and a 28 mm barrel.
Well...if you want to copy it...you now know how to..

Well in stead I am going to get a length on 35mm copper for the chamber so it can be alot shorter.
18cm instead of 55cm.
