pneumatic pistol idea

hey guys i have an idea for a pneumatic and wanted to ask you guys first i know nothing about pnuematic never built one but my idea is having 6 inches of 1 1/2 pvc a 1 1/2 end cap schrader tire valve in the end cap , 90 deg. elbow , ball valve reducer 1 1/2 - 3/4 , and a 9 inch 3/4 barel wanted to ask before i make it because like i said i know nothing about pneumatic and for all i know it could be a recipe for disaster

Ball valve will give you crap performance. Buy a QEV.

ohhh ok i thnk i know why you guys dont care for ball valves they open to slow compare to qev or a springed ball valve . correct ?

Yes, too slow and not consistent.

Whatever you do, if you use glue make sure you give it plenty of time to cure. Do not get over anxious and charge the launcher too early. You will get a leak at best and at worst a flying heavy end cap with whatever attached to it causing destruction to yourself or others.

ahhhh i would prefer that not happening to me haha about how much presure do you think it can hold again zero experiance with pneumatic i dontknow if the pipe can hold as much as it says it can .... or can it

If you want a pneumatic pistol, I don't think PVC is the way to go though.

man i cant believe i did not see those they are awsome but hey what if you instead of puting a tire valve there you hook up a few feet of hose to a air chamber about 1 foot of 3 inch pvc witha end cap on both sides on one side make it so you can hook up a compressure or bike pump and other side a spot to hook up the hose fill up the chamber with air now you get multiple shots out of it
