I made this gun a while ago, but I never posted it here. It is a pneumatic launcher with an oversized chamber (18"x3") with electric ignition. I used a jartop sprinkler valve from home depot (two hours of searching...) and it has worked fine for the past 9 months. The camo is duct tape wrapped around everything. The barrel is 36"x1" but I am planning on making a bigger one (36"x2").
Why is it called a duffle bag gun? Because the chamber & valve can fit inside a duffle bag (and maybe an 18"x4" barrel if I ever make one).

Whole gun

so what if its electric, its still cool. where did you get the cammo tape? you should make a 12'' barrel that way you can launch duffle bags

The gun looks cool, but I would recommend getting a project box from radio shack for the electrical.

Spudthug... all your posts I've read this morning have done nothing but criticize a first poster's cannon. Not the good kind of criticizing, but the bad kind, like above. If you think he should modify the sprinkler valve, say so, but not with all the sarcasm.
Beans... good to see you here!

when i saw duffle bag gun i thought it was designed to fire inside one. that wold be cool to have something like that.
if you had a shorter barrel on it you could stick it in one with a hole in the end of the bag for the barrel to stick out, lol.
